Bohol 3D2N - Part 3

November 8, 2024

The third day started on a somber note, with heavy rain resembling a storm and strong winds whipping through the air. Our tour coordinator reached out to share the disappointing news that our Panglao Island hopping trip had been canceled. Initially, we considered taking it easy since our flight home was later that evening. However, around 9 AM, the weather began to warm slightly, though the rain persisted. Eager to make the most of our time, I contacted our coordinator again to explore any half-day activities. He suggested Oceanica, which perfectly matched our desire for a beach getaway, so we decided to go—and it turned out to be an excellent choice.

Oceanica is a tranquil beach resort in Bohol, offering a relaxing retreat with breathtaking ocean views and lush surroundings. Guests can take advantage of various amenities, including comfortable accommodations, a swimming pool, and a picturesque beachfront ideal for sunbathing and water activities.

When we were picked up, we took all our belongings with us for a direct ride to the airport after Oceanica. Upon our arrival, we treated ourselves to lunch, which was a bit on the pricey side, but since it was our final day, we decided to indulge and ordered a feast. The food was not only delicious but also generous in portion, making every peso worthwhile. After our meal, we made our way to the beach, where a lively crowd still enjoyed the sunny weather. We spent some time relaxing and soaking in the beautiful scenery until around 4 PM, at which point we arranged our ride to the airport and settled in for our boarding time.

Overall, our stay in Bohol was fantastic—a great choice for family travel. We felt a bit shortchanged because we couldn’t go island hopping, so I’m definitely planning to return. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful destination, especially with family. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal during our trip, I can only imagine how much more enjoyable and breathtaking Bohol would be in perfect weather.

Highlights:
• Don’t miss the ice cream at Bohol Bee Farm—it’s a must-try!

• Stroll along the beach for a relaxing night walk.
• Marvel at the stunning Chocolate Hills.
• Experience the thrill of riding an ATV.
• Savor a delicious lunch at Oceanica.
• Experience a budget-friendly family tour with a total cost of Php 55-60k.
