Of course, every trip must include some adventure. The Danao Adventure Park wasn’t originally part of the package I booked, but I had it added to our Bohol Countryside Tour. Initially, the additional price was Php 2,500.00, but I was able to negotiate it down to Php 1,500.00, which was great. Our travel tour contact was Bohol Wonders Van & Car for Rental. I highly recommend this travel tour service for Bohol trips—very accommodating and their rates are very affordable. You may contact: Mr. Noel Gundaya – 09776207450.
It was bad timing because the weather during our trip wasn’t good—it was rainy and gloomy. I went to Danao Adventure Park with my family. We decided to visit it first before the countryside tour because it’s quite far. The drive from Panglao took almost 2 hours by car.
We arrived around 9 AM, and the entrance fee was Php 60.00 per person. They have packages available for various activities. You can check my pictures below for their tarpaulin showing the activities and packages they offer. Unfortunately, since it was rainy and windy during our visit, many activities were unavailable, so I couldn’t try everything I wanted. Luckily, the famous “The Plunge” was available.

We paid for the activities we wanted to try before heading to the site. I chose the SkyRide for my parents since I thought they’d prefer something relaxing with a nice view. My sibling and I went for “The Plunge” and the Suislide (zipline). Unfortunately, the rest of the activities weren’t available due to the wind, so we couldn’t avail of any packages. Instead, we paid individually for each activity.
We started with the SkyRide. My parents went on the ride first. SkyRide is a scenic cable car experience that offers a slow and relaxing journey across a breathtaking ravine. Suspended high above a deep gorge, the ride allows you to take in stunning panoramic views of lush forests and rugged cliffs. Unlike adrenaline-pumping activities, the SkyRide is more about appreciating nature’s beauty at a leisurely pace. It’s perfect for those who prefer a calm adventure while still enjoying the excitement of being suspended in mid-air. The ride is steady and comfortable, making it suitable for all ages, especially for those seeking a peaceful yet thrilling experience with a spectacular view. I could see that my parents were enjoying the ride, even though they were holding on tightly.

The next ride was the Suislide. My sibling and I went tandem. It was his first time, so he was a bit nervous. The zipline was in a “superman” position, and it was fun because we felt really secure with how we were strapped in. As you zip across a deep gorge, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the lush forest and rugged cliffs below, making the ride both thrilling and scenic. The strong harness and secure strapping ensure your safety throughout the ride, allowing you to fully enjoy the adrenaline rush while feeling like you’re soaring through the skies. It’s an unforgettable adventure that combines excitement and natural beauty in one heart-pounding ride.

The last ride was the famous “The Plunge.” I let my sibling go first so I could see his reaction and to help calm my nerves for my turn. I was filled with both excitement and fear at the same time, but when I saw my sibling handle it well and look happy afterward, I felt ready for my turn.

As I was being lowered, I couldn’t help but shout and laugh because I was excited to overcome this steep drop. When I finally fell, it felt like I was momentarily weightless, as if I didn’t have a harness on. But that feeling only lasted a few seconds, and then the joy hit me as I dropped. I raised my hands and enjoyed the exhilarating fall—it was totally worth it! The Plunge is not just about the adrenaline; it’s about the incredible sensation of free-falling and the joy that comes with overcoming such a daring challenge. Our parents said they were the ones feeling nervous for us while we did The Plunge. But my sibling and I had an amazing time! I would definitely do it again next time.
After the rides, we took some pictures. The activities at Danao Adventure Park were definitely worth it! We only tried three of them, but I can only imagine how much fun we would have had if all the activities were available. It’s a must-visit destination, not just for adventurers but also for families looking for a fun day out.
